Downloading iDev Affiliate Software

After you purchase iDev Affiliate software you’re going to have to download the zip file to your computer, find the download, and unzip the contents to your hard drive.

Depending on your level of experience with installing software on a web server, that last sentence either put you to sleep… or scared the heck out of you.

In any case, you’ll see just how easy it is to download the file you purchased and what to do with them.

Recommended Software

First, I recommend the wonderful Firefox browser, but it’s not really necessary for iDev Affiliate Software… I just wanted to through that in. You’ll be glad I told you to get it, if you’re still using Internet Explorer.

Next, you need to understand what a zip file is and how to un-zip it. When you take several files and folders and compress them down into one small file, with a .zip ending (extension) then you have a zip file. This makes is much easier to distribute (and sell) files on the web.

But before you can upload iDev Affiliate software, you need to unzip the zip file into the dozens of files and folders that you’ll be uploading to your web server.

Here are two free zip/unzip programs I can recommend.

• Izarc
• 7Zip

Either one should do the trick.
