iDev Affiliate Readme File

I know you’re dying to get into the good stuff with iDev Affiliate but bare with me.

The oft overlooked readme file has some valuable information in it, especially if you’re upgrading iDev Affiliate from a previous version.

But it also gives us some valuable direction on how to configure the software and where to install it. You’ll notice that I’ve gone against the directions a little bit, and installed it in a slightly different directory than suggested.

Not just that, but I also (gasp) uploaded the files before making changes to them. That’s completely out of order from what the directions say.

Look out! I’m out of control. I’m off the reservation.

Sarcasm aside, it’s okay to color outside the lines once in a while.

It doesn’t matter if you configure the files first, or upload first. If you are following along with my videos step by step then you’ll see that we’re just going to overwrite the files we already uploaded.
